Massage by Design

Tricia Holleman is a 2nd generation massage therapist who is extensively educated in the practice of massage therapy including many alternatives healing methods.

A well rounded understanding of anatomy and patholgy is pivotal in having the ability to determine how best to address your personal health issues through combined customized therapy. Some of the techniques that may be incorporated are Trigger point therapy, sports, injury, Swedish, Russian, deep muscle therapy, reflexology, Cranial sacral therapy, Acupressure and Structural body work.

Tricia also practices many other methods of alternative healing arts including Hot Stone Therapy, Cold Stone Facial Treatment, Reiki (Master), Quantum touch therapy and couples massage (perfect for Anniversaries or Birthday’s or anytime you need a little ‘couple time’).

At the beginning of each massage session there will be an assessment/evaluation, and your massage will be designed around what your body is communicating to her as your therapist.  She will share her professional perspective regarding the best available options for addressing your specific needs. Every technique used in your massage will be dedicated to bringing your body to a place of balance and health. There is a difference when you can customize each area of the body as opposed to manipulations that do not truly address your body’s needs.

A few words from Tricia about why  she loves her work.

My connection to massage began as a small child,  my Mother who was a massage therapist would take me to her place of practice at a chiropractor’s office where I observed her client’s arrive and depart. I became keenly aware of a noticeable and positive difference in their faces, they would leave her office with an attitude of gratitude and a ’realigned’ posture. This experience allowed me to observe what a signifigant impact a massage therapist could have on a persons life through improving their sense of wellbeing with massage. The realization that I too could have that effect as a massage therapist inspires me to this day.

As a result of this exposure I pursued a career as a massage therapist and have become a Nationally Accredited Massage therapist with several years of experience and as a result of my career, not only do I now see the difference with attitude and poise in my clients, I also see a higher, healthier state of being. This result is what continuously keeps me striving to achieve even more than what most clients expect from a typical massage service.
